Background

Lauren is Umoja’s Hunger Relief Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast region.  

Lauren has more than 6 years of experience in working with Hunger Relief Organizations. Lauren was introduced to the world of food banking in 2016 when she began working at her local food bank, managing customer (agency) services and procurement. She has truly sat in the seat her customers sit in.  

After a dedicated tenure at her local foodbank, Lauren transitioned to sales, securing a position as Northeast Regional Sales Manager for food banks from Ohio to Maine. Lauren’s background has prepared her in understanding just how multifaceted food banks and their operations are. She enjoys problem solving and helping her customers find solutions tailored to their needs.  

Lauren takes pride in serving her customers, so they may better serve their own communities and is excited to be a trusted resource for products and solutions.  

Lauren holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and International Business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, traveling with family, and hosting game nights with friends.
